Prof. Mengquan Wu

Mengquan Wu, Ph.D., Professor and Master’s Supervisor, is currently the Deputy Dean of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering of Ludong University, voted as “the most beautiful teacher” of Ludong University in 2020. He is a Member of the Education and Science Popularization Committee of China GIS Association and a Member of the Expert Committee of China GIS Application-Level Examination. He has been engaged in remote sensing of marine environment, smart city, and spatial analysis methods for a long time. He presided over more than ten vertical projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, and the Scientific Research Award Fund for Outstanding Young Scientists of Shandong Province; he serves localities to undertake nearly 20 projects including geographic monitoring of national conditions, remote sensing monitoring of marine enteromorpha, and remote sensing monitoring of marine oil spills. Furthermore, he published more than 50 papers in domestic and foreign journals, such as Science of the Total Environment, Marine Pollution Bulletin, and Science Bulletin, and compiled four textbooks, and authorized eight national invention patents. He won two Second Prizes of National University GIS Teaching Achievements, two Second Prizes of Shandong Province Teaching Achievements; he guided a Shandong Province Excellent Master Thesis and two Shandong Provincial Excellent Undergraduate Papers; he approved a project of the Ministry Of Education Industry-University Cooperation on Collaborative Education Project, two teaching reform projects in Shandong Province, and guided college students to win seven national innovation projects and more than 50 awards in “Challenge Cup”, “Internet Plus”, “Creating Youth” and various professional competitions held among college students, and guided undergraduates to publish eight core journal papers.

吴孟泉 教授

鲁东大学

吴孟泉，博士、教授、硕士生导师，现任鲁东大学资源与环境工程学院副院长，2020年鲁东大学最美教师，中国GIS协会教育与科普委员会委员，中国GIS应用水平考试专家委员会委员。长期从事海洋环境遥感、智慧城市、空间分析方法等研究。主持国家自然科学基金、山东省自然基金、山东省优秀中青年科学家科研奖励基金等纵向项目10余项；服务地方承担国情地理监测、海洋浒苔遥感监测、海洋溢油遥感监测等近20项。在Science of the Total Environment、Marine Pollution Bulletin、科学通报等国内外期刊发表论文50余篇，编写教材4部，授权国家发明专利8件。获全国高校GIS教学成果二等奖2项，山东省教学成果二等奖2项；指导山东省优秀硕士论文1篇，山东省优秀本科论文2篇；获批教育部产学合作协同育人项目1项，山东省教学改革项目2项，指导大学生获全国创新项目7项，大学生“挑战杯”、“互联网+”、“创青春”及各类专业竞赛获奖50余项，指导本科生发表核心期刊论文8篇。
